Sappe PCL has been conducting social contribution activities which include donations to ease public burden.
On May 11, the SAPPE corporate social responsibility team took part in survival kit preparations and donated 200 cartons of products to Rajanukul Institute, the renowned academic development center in Thailand and the Southeast Asian region which specializes in taking care of people with intellectual disabilities.
The products were received by Ms. Aranya Raksasataya, Rajanukul deputy director of administration, and Ms. Nutchanok Suwannanon, chief of its information division.
The items included 850 survival kits for children aged 0-12 years, and will be distributed to the isolation center at Wat Saphan Phra Khanong (Saphan temple) in the Klong Toey community. The packages would be initial aids for Covid-19 infected patients who were waiting for hospital beds.
The CSR team later visited Veterans General Hospital to deliver 150 cartons of products to support the medical personnel, who tirelessly provide treatment for COVID-19 patients. The products were handed to the hospital representatives, Ms. Savitree Maksiri and Mr. Phumpong Pensiri.
