Sappe Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Piyajit Ruckariyapong, gave functional shot product, SAPPE x TAKABB, a herbal drink which helps ease sore throat and cough, to hospitals and a number of organizations, including the ‘Unifying Listed Companies to Communities’ project. The project is a collaboration among member companies of the Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA), including Sappe, to provide assistance for those affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. The 60,000 bottles of SAPPE x TAKABB worth 1,740,000 baht were part of the company’s effort to help relieve throat irritation for COVID-19 patients and medical staff.
In the past four months, Sappe’s CSR team visited and donated around 600,000 refreshment bottles, worth 12 million baht, to a number of hospitals, field hospitals, village public health centers, isolation centers, communities, foundations and volunteer groups. The team also distributed 1,000 relief supplies bags to the homeless in the Ratchadamnoen, Hua Lamphong and Khlong Toey areas directly.
Furthermore, the company also supports SCGP’s project in transforming paper boxes into paper beds for COVID-19 patients in field hospitals. Thailand Post’s reBOX Box Bun project is the most recent mission in which Sappe’s CSR team took part by donating unused boxes from the company’s production. A total of 40 tons of paper boxes were given to the two projects to be another way to help people during this difficult time.
