Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE) has carried on the success of Kru Pensri candy by launching ‘Kru Pensri Milk Cheese Flavored Candy with Vitamin D’, a beneficial and delicious candy, to spice up the confectionery market and to increase choices for the consumers in all ages and genders. Kru Pensri Milk Cheese flavor is now available at all branches of 7-11 convenience stores nationwide. The fresh launch aims to bolster the sale volume of WOPE to reach 200 million baht within 2023.

SAPPE Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Piyajit Ruckariyapong, said the latest launch came after the success of Kru Pensri candy’s two flavors; Sour Maxx and Spicy Maxx, which have been introduced in 2021. The good feedback was considered an expansion into the chewy candy market under a collaboration between SAPPE, the leader of functional drinks, and the media giant Workpoint which brought Kru Pensri, known as the ‘Character Asset’ in a popular TV sitcom ‘Hok Chak Krubjan’ to create an innovative product for the market. With its singularity and being able to access a wide range of target groups, Kru Pensri candy received overwhelming welcome from the consumers leading to an establishment of WOPE Co., Ltd, the joint venture company to further creative ideas and increase the new customer groups of both companies.

Due to a roaring success, WOPE recently introduced Kru Pensri Milk Cheese candy, a new flavor with a perfect combination of Cheddar cheese, cheesecake, and Hokkaido milk.
