Ms. Piyajit Ruckariyapong, CEO of Sappe Public Company Limited or SAPPE, the firm that won the runner-up prize in the Gender-Responsive Marketplace category from the UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards, attended the Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2024. It was a big annual event jointly held by the Stock Exchange of Thailand and the UN Women under the Sustainable Development Goals-SDGs which is a driving force to push for gender equality in the business sector. The event was also aimed at celebrating the International Women’s Day 2024 under the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”, affirming the strategic investment in women that can lead to changes and take us to more equal future.
The Sappe CEO said that Sappe has the determination in running business that “We better people’s lives through our innovative spirit”, reflecting the core of doing business that takes all stakeholders into account throughout the value chain. She said Sappe is an organization of a new generation and has women more than half of the employees at all levels particularly the executive level where diverse generations are working together.
