SAPPE CEO Piyajit Ruckariyapong participates in GC Sustainable Living Symposium 2024: GEN S GATHERING

Ms. Piyajit Ruckarirapong, Sappe Public Company Limited or SAPPE participated in the GC Sustainable Living Symposium 2024: Gen S Gathering organized by PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) under the theme– ‘How Collaboration Advances Bioplastic, Circularity & Plastic Waste Solution’.  This reflects a partnership within the industrial sector to promote tangible sustainability, which ought to advance, adjust and promote bioplastic and recycled products. During the seminar, SAPPE CEO presented the company’s sustainability policy under the motto “We better people’s lives through our innovative spirit”, emphasizing a commitment to all stakeholders in line with the three pillars of good governance: boosting sustainable economic growth, enhancing the quality of life for Sappe’s key players and protecting the environment with innovation and technology. SAPPE has been developing and designing product packaging, so called ‘Sustainable packaging & Eco design’, to minimize the environmental impact and using the packages aligned with circular economy, such as changing all SAPPE product labels from PVC to 100% PET, reducing plastic weight used in a bottle production and changing virgin PET to 25% recycled PET. SAPPE teams up with TIPMSE alliance declaring intent of ‘PackBack in Action’ for third consecutive year, pledges to advance PROVE: The Drive for EPR in Thailand

Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Chairman of Executive Committee and Sustainability Committee Chairman of Sappe Public Company Limited or SAPPE, joined force with Thailand Institute of Packaging and Recycling Management for Sustainable Environment (TIPMSE), the Federation of Thai Industries, the pollution control department under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and PackBack allies in a total of 149 organizations, declaring the intent of PackBack in Action network for third consecutive year. At the declaration of intent ceremony, SAPPE and its TIPMSE allies were committed to advancing PROVE: The Drive for EPR in Thailand initiative, underscoring their intentions to drive the business towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in line with Environment Social and Governance (ESG) standards, which cover environment, social and corporate governance dimensions. SAPPE extends moral support and donations to flood victims through multiple agencies

Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Executive Committee Chairman of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), donated beverage items to the flood victims in northern Thailand through the ‘Ruam Jai listed companies to help flood victims’ project managed by Thai Listed Companies Association (TLCA). Mr. Adisak, who is also SAPPE’s Chairman of Sustainability Committee handed over the donations to Maj.Gen. Amarin Thesanatham, Director of Joint Civil Affair operational office, representing the Royal Thai Armed Forces (second from left). SAPPE has contributed its products and essential supplies through various organizations, such as Friends in Need (of Pa) Volunteers Foundation under Thai Red Cross, the rescue volunteers of Chiang Rai Lion club, the Roi Jai Rak project distributed to Mae Ai district in Chiang Mai province, Mae Fa Luang Foundation and the other rescue teams in the flood-hit areas across several provinces. SAPPE donates 3 million baht to Ramathibodi Hospital’s Building and Yothi Innovation District project to elevate Thai medicine, produces experts for complicated diseases and delivers good life quality to people

SAPPE President Mr. Anan Ruckariyapong and Chairman of Executive Committee Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong (second from right) donated 3 million baht to the Ramathibodi Hospital’s Building and Yothi Innovation District project which is aimed at increasing space to accommodate medical services for patients along with elevating Thai medical and public health circles. The other objective of this project is to enhance Thailand’s public health potential to reach the international level. The donation was given to Clinical Professor Dr. Artit Ungkanont (center), Dean of Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University and Chairman of Ramathibodi Foundation. As SAPPE holds the business guideline that “We better people’s lives through our innovative spirit,” we are pleased to extend the goodwill through this project. The new Ramathibodi Hospital building has more than 278,000 square kilometers of space, consisting of the Medical Innovations Development Center (MIND Center), co-working space and the Clinical Research Center plus additional areas for medical purposes. SAPPE passes power of fun and good life to society through “90 Days My Fat for You” project, providing playgrounds for two schools in Northeast

Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Executive Committee Chairman of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), together with the company’s staff and the sustainability committee, jointly gave two playgrounds to students in the Northeast under its “90 Days My Fat for You’’ project. The playgrounds are for two schools which needed playthings — Ban Nong Ya Lad school in Kantharalak district, Si Sa Ket province and Ban Nonkha Nonyang school in Phibun Mangsahan district, Ubon Ratchathani province. SAPPE hopes to be part of the effort to better the children’s lives through fun and to enhance the development to help them grow with quality in society. The “90 Days My Fat for You” project has been in place for five years. It is an exercising activity that all Sappe Players both at the office and factory take part in various forms throughout the 90-day-period. The participants can earn points from the activities and turn the points into cash which could be spent for social benefits. SAPPE donates medical equipment worth 1.5 million baht to 13 hospitals under its continuous mission to deliver good quality of life to community for more than 10 years

Mr. Anan Ruckariyapong, Chairman, (6th from left), and Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, Executive Committee Chairman of Sappe Public Company Limited or SAPPE, (7th from left), led the company’s sustainability committee to donate medical equipment worth 1.5 million baht to 13 hospitals near the factory and provide 2,000 shirts for the public health volunteers in the community villages. The event was attended by the Lamlukka chief district officer and sub-district chief. SAPPE has been donating medical equipment to the nearby hospitals for over 10 years since the establishment of its factory in Lamlukka district, Pathum Thani province. With its strong intention to promote good health and good quality of life for the community members including the employees and their families under the determination “We will better people’s lives through our innovative spirit,” SAPPE has been sending this goodwill to the medical personnel as support for them. SAPPE holds meeting with Wan Wan Wan’ project members, integrates 3 powers to build on knowledge as it enters 7th year

Chairman of Executive Committee of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), Mr. Adisak Ruckariyaphong, who is also the Sustainable Committee Chairman, held a meeting with the ‘Wan Wan Wan’ members to integrate forces of three parties: SAPPE, the community around SAPPE factory at Khlong 13 in Lam Luk Ka district and the suppliers who produce aloe vera materials, in enhancing the aloe vera project. The recent activity was organized to share knowledge and experiences in harvesting quality aloe vera and to discuss the plan to grow organic aloe vera as preparation for the future market. It is part of the Wan Wan Wan project in which SAPPE has been working with the local community for several years and entered its 7th year. The Wan Wan Wan project is one of SAPPE’s proud projects. The company has been providing sprouts, teaching the members how to grow and care for the aloe vera plants to have a good-quality output for the production, and buying yields from the local community members to strengthen their income. SAPPE participates in “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event organized by SET and UN Women, affirms standpoint as organization that runs business with equality throughout supply chain

Miss Piyajit Ruckariyapong, Chief Executive Officer of Sappe Public Company Limited (SAPPE), which won the first runner-up prize in the Gender-Responsive Marketplace category from the UN Women 2022 Thailand WEPs Awards, participated the “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” event held as a driving force to encourage the private sector to promote gender equality. The SAPPE CEO also jointly celebrated the economic, political and social success of women around the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2023 at the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) building.
